TRADE Industries provides a number of services for our consumers. We have our CILA Program (Community Integrated Living Arrangement), DT (Day Training) and janitorial services.
TRADE has five CILA homes: four in McLeansboro and one in Dahlgren. Our consumers in this program live in homes like ours! We have four consumers to each home and they do shopping, eat out just like we do!
TRADE's Day Training Program services consumers from Hamilton, White and Saline counties. We have a Kindle program-we have educational games on our Kindles. Consumers are able to play these games and learn at the same time. Our consumers work on ADL's-learning how to provide or assist with basic care for themselves. They have outings to ballgames, the public pool, area stores, as well as functions out of the area like Bowl-n-Bop at SIU.
Our consumers from DT also work in our Recycling Program: we take cardboard, paper and plastics (#2). These products can be dropped off at our south building anytime we have recycling bins marked outside the building.
